In loving memory of Jeanette Margaret Suckling who sadly passed away on 10th July 2026.
In lieu of flowers, we would be so grateful for donations in memory of our wonderful wife and mum, Jeanette.
Jeanette filled our lives with laughter, quick-witted remarks, and a song for every occasion – even if she had to make up the words as she went along. She was straight-talking, endlessly caring, funny, last one dancing and always had the perfect way to make you feel better!
Mum was the wisest person - we have all accepted she was always right (and always will be). She had endless strength to always “keep calm and carry on”, no matter what life threw at her whilst still managing to put everyone else first.
We miss her more than words can say. Thank you for helping us honour her memory by supporting a cause that meant so much to our family.

Goodbye Nanny Jeane,
Thank you for all the lovely times we spent together reading our books, singing our favourite songs and helping us make our bugs.
We are sorry for all the times we made you jump by bopping your feet and for how much we made your Alexa do animal noises. You made the best boat for hiding from sharks.
We are sorry for the repeated eagle and whale impressions, as good as they are, upon reflection we can see that they are very loud.
Oh and also sorry for always eating your lunch!
We will never forget you and will keep you in our hearts, every step of the way.
We love you Nanny Jeane.

As a family we feel very fortunate to have had Jeanette and the Sucklings as close friends and neighbours as our families grew up together. She was always there for us through life's ups and downs, with her kindness, patience, wisdom, humour and her gift for gently questioning and offering a different way of seeing things. She will be greatly missed but the wisdom that she has passed on will stay with all those who knew her.
