Robert (Bob) Banks passed away peacefully in his sleep on 28th June 2026, aged 81 years, after his health had deteriorated over a long period of time.

A devoted husband of 43 years to Sue, and a much-loved family member and friend to many.

Bob’s Celebration of Life service will be held at Trent Valley Crematorium on Friday 24th July 2026 at 2.30pm.

Please join us afterwards at Chaddesden Park Social Club to relax, share refreshments, and continue celebrating Bob’s life as we reflect on treasured memories and stories together.

We would be very grateful if you could click the attendance section of this page to let us know whether you are able to attend the service and if you will be joining us afterwards.

Any colours are welcome – please wear whatever you feel most comfortable in.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bob’s memory to Cat’s Protection League.
