Peacefully in hospital on July 2nd surrounded by her loving family aged 85 years, Barbara (Babs) (nee Berrell). The dearly loved wife of the late George. A much loved mum of Elaine and Nigel. A loving mother-in-law of Michael and Kim, a devoted gran of Lisa, Jane and Russell and their partners Tony, Emma and Karolyn, a treasured “Granny Barbara” to Robyn, Lewis, Joshua, Charlie and Theo and her special furry grand daughter Luna Bear. A loved sister, sister-in-law, aunty, great aunty, cousin and a friend to many.

Friends please meet on Monday July 20th for a service in Sunderland Crematorium at 3.00pm. All are welcome afterwards to the Mill Inn, Houghton-le-Spring for refreshments. Donations in lieu of flowers gratefully received for the work of the Stroke Association. A donation box will be available in the crematorium.
