Peacefully at home with loved ones at his side, on July 2nd aged 78 years, Peter. The beloved husband of the late Marlene, much-loved dad of Craig, devoted step-dad of Julie, Darren, Ashley and dear father-in-law of Emma, Tony, Sharon and Bobby. The treasured grandad of David, Nicola, Jodi, Dillan, Abbi, Bailey, Fenton, Lacey, Maisie, Karter, Lawson, Poppy and great-grandad of Reggie, Finlay, Leo, Ryah, Reuben, Charlie, Francesca and the late Tilly. The cherished son of the late Bill and Irene, the dearly loved brother of Terry, David, Paul and the late Jim, Keith, Pat, Maureen and Colin. A loving brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and good friend of many. Loved and remembered always.

Family and friends please meet on Tuesday July 21st for a service in Durham Crematorium at 1.30pm. Everyone is welcome to wear red and white in memory of Peter. Family flowers only, donations in lieu gratefully received for Help for Heroes. A donation box will be available in the crematorium. Please join the family afterwards in The Hetton Centre to continue the celebration of Peter’s life.
