A funeral service will in held from Stephen McCosh Funeral Directors, 248-250 Newtownards Road Belfast, BT4 1HD on Friday 10th July at 11.30am, and afterwards to Roselawn Crematorium for 12.40pm

Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu if desired to Marie Curie, c/o Stephen McCosh Funeral Directors (address above). Will be sadly missed by his loving family circle.

To have you for our father was cause enough for pride, no-one could be your equal, however much they tried. We lost a dad in a million, we loved him to the end, we lost two precious things that day, our dad and our best friend.

As his homecare worker, knowing Charlie was a true blessing. He was such a kind, cheerful, and elegant gentleman . More than a client, he felt like a dear friend. My favorite memory of him will always be how excited he got every single week, looking forward to Saturdays and spending time at Lavery’s Bar. Thank you for the smiles, Charlie. May you rest in peace.
My deepest condolences to the family

With Love and prayers
Marissa

My heartfelt condolences to the whole family. Though I have never met him in person, the few times we talked over the phone seeing him smiling even sonetimes in pain from his sickness is enough for me to say that it is such a pleasure to know and meet a good-humored, straightforward and calm-natured man. I can say he is truly a man's man. Pity we havent got much time to cherish but I will always remember him this way.. Our wee craics and candid conversation remains in my heart forever. I felt his worries and how hed been protective about his son Gary-- hes such a wonderful Da and I couldnt be more grateful to him for raising such a lovely soul who is now my husband-- not totally as legend as him but partly a replica . I will say some prayers for you Da and RIP. I love you ❤️🙏
