My family and I became neighbours with John 15 years ago and he was always so friendly, kind and generous with his time. We will miss him and the street doesn’t quite feel the same without him. RIEP John.

I have known John for over 10 years now I was his gardener. I tried to do as much as I could for him. I was so upset to find out that John had passed he was a strong man and really nice bloke, I will miss him dearly. Rest in peace John.

So sad to hear of John's passing. We shared many a chat and a laugh over the many years that I knew him and I am grateful for both that and his enthusiastic support of my music. In particular, he loved a track from my 'Hanging Loose' album, namely 'The Wrong Side of Hell'. I hope to see you one day on the right side of heaven where you belong.
