Helen Margaret Robinson-Ward was born on 15 September 1971 in Manchester, and spent her early years in Blackburn and Clayton-le-Moors before moving south to Kent, where she married her husband John on 13 September 2002. She passed away on 17 June 2026.

Helen trained as a beauty therapist and holistic therapist, offering anything to do with nails as well as massage and Reiki, and later worked as an office manager, before spending her last decade at home as her health declined. Yet no job ever quite captured her spirit the way her creativity did. She loved art in all its forms, from nail art in her working years to drawing and painting simply for the joy of it.

She was an animal lover through and through, rarely without a dog by her side, and always delighted by birds and butterflies. Travel lit her up too, especially trips to Turkey, India, and America, where Disney World never failed to feel magical.

Warm, funny, and fierce when she needed to be, Helen was the one people turned to when things got hard. She always made space for her friends and never let anyone struggle alone.

She leaves behind her husband John, her son Steven, and her brother David. She will be deeply missed, and always remembered with love.

RIP Auntie Helen, I’m so glad you got the chance to meet Madison and I’m happy you’ve seen pictures of Maisie recently too. I’ll never forget our conversations over recent months, and despite everything how you have always championed me and my girls, and loved us from afar. Thankyou for all the wonderful memories, I’ll never forget our many adventures around the world, particularly your love for all things glam in India, delicious food and beaches in Turkey, and every adventure we had with Mickey Mouse! I’m sure when I’m next in Disney in January you’ll be right by our side, watching over and spiritually guiding us. All my love, your niece Samantha ❤️🩷 xxxxx
