Jacqueline Kirk (9 Sep 1942 - 21 Jun 2026)

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we announce the passing of Jacqueline Kirk née Kealey, lovingly known as Jackie and former Captain of the 13th Derby Girls' Brigade. Dedicated Mother to Robert and Emma, wife of the late Hadge, loving Grandma to Joshua, Sophie, Mitchell, Charlie and the late Macy. Great Grandma to Casper, adored partner of Gus, Mother in law to Ang and Kev, sister to Vince and friend to many.

After a long and courageous battle Jackie passed away peacefully aged 83 on Sunday 21st June 2026 surrounded by her loved ones.

A service to celebrate Jackie’s amazing and vibrant life, dedicated to helping and supporting others through her career at the Derby Primary Language Centre and Normanton Junior School, as well as her voluntary and charity work, will be held on [Date and time] at St Giles Church, Village Street, Derby, followed by a short service at Markeaton Crematorium. Attire - bright and colourful, anything that reminds you of Jackie.
