Kitty Lydon (7 Jul 1933 - 19 Jun 2026)

In loving memory of Kitty Lydon who sadly passed away on 19th June 2026

Kitty Lydon, an amazing lady. Born Catherine Theresa Dooley in Waterford, Ireland. She moved to London, Shepherds Bush, as a young teenager. She worked as a seamstress in a factory after leaving school and continued using these skills making dresses for her daughters throughout their young lives.
She met Tom in her late teens at the YCW (Young Christian Workers) and they were married on the 7th August 1954, a marriage that lasted over 68 years. Her pride and joy were her eight children, her chicklets and Kitty would tell anyone who would listen, how wonderful they were (most of the time). There then followed 19 grandchildren and to date 31 great grandchildren, all of whom she is also very proud.
She was a loving and caring person to all she met, always seeing the best in people, never having a bad word to say about anyone.
She will be greatly missed.
