Brenda Burnett (Passed away 12 Jun 2026)

In loving memory of Brenda Jessie Burnett who sadly passed away on 12th June 2026. Mum had been cared for at Aspen Lodge Care Home for the last 18 months.

After Dad died, Mum took up scrapbooking and paper crafting (with my encouragement!). We spent months going through the boxes of old photos, reminiscing with laughter or tears. Her cards were admired by friends and neighbours who would ask her to make them a ‘special’ one. She was happiest when she could add plenty of glitter!

Her garden was always a source of pride and joy. She would look forward to the annual visit from the tree surgeons so she could tell them exactly what she wanted them to do. And on the whole I believe they did what they were told.
