Pamela ' Pam' Susan Bocardo (27 Apr 1948 - 10 Jun 2026)

In loving memory of our beloved Pamela Bocardo who sadly passed away on 10th June 2026

Pamela is survived by her son Adrian and daughter Bianca.

Pamela was born in Braintree and brought up and educated in Thundersley. As a teen with a streak of adventure she was destined for something different and moved to Cádiz Spain, aged 20, to work as an au pair.

It was there she met her late husband Juan on the beach in 1968. The next few years were spent between Spain and Germany before returning to England where they were married.

Pamela and Juan settled in Corringham and had their first born, Adrian, followed by Bianca.

In later life the family returned to Pamela's hometown of Thundersley where she spent many happy years nurturing the garden, where she felt most content.

Sadly Pamela endured poor health in her last years, yet remained brave throughout. Her loss leaves an unimaginable hole in the lives of our heartbroken family, and she will be missed dearly.

Following a church service at 11:45 at St. Michael's Fobbing, Pamela will be laid to rest at 1pm at Woodside Cemetery in Benfleet. Details can be found on this page. Please confirm your attendance via the tab on the front page.

There will be a gathering afterwards at the family home in Thundersley.

Both Pamela and Juan's lives were impacted by cancer, an experience no family should have to face and one which both of them would want to help others avoid in any way they can.
