Many happy memories of you Chris ever since you shared my house from 1974/5 while you worked at Havant College and needless to say we had been friends ever since. We had many wonderful holidays together in HPB properties in the summer until you took up bowls and then we went in the winter instead for about12/14 years. Now there is only Heather and I left from the 4 of us who holidayed in the winter but a mutual friends Jacky will join us this coming winter as you had already tried tried to encourage Jacky to join us - which she will do this year.

You will be greatly missed Chris!

Chris was my line manager when I worked with her in the Services for Young Children dept. Chris was very passionate in all aspects of her life both at work, in the organisations she supported and latterly her new hobby of bowls. I'm so pleased to have met up with her and some other work colleagues a couple of years ago. A pleasure to have known you Chris xx

Fond memories of playing in the Itchen U15 team with Chris and others. I had not seen her recently but was very sad to hear of her passing. She will be remembered with fondness and sadly missed by her friends and family.

So sad that we lost Chris so quickly! She was so amazing, giving so much time and energy to her causes. She will be so missed by our ex U15 Hockey team and our bank holiday socials!!!

In memory of a great friend from the age of 11 when we met at Itchen Grammar School, Chris always referred to 'our gang' as the U15 hockey team. In recent years we all met up at the Otterbourne pantomime to celebrate Chris' birthday (oh yes, we did) and twice a year she tutored us in the intricacies of bowling at her bowling club in Bishop's Waltham.
Eight of us met up on Vancouver Island and had a wonderful holiday to celebrate our 60th years. I had the pleasure of travelling there with Chris and there is not enough room here to relate some of the stories I could tell!
Simon and Garfunkel? Yet another story!
Chris, you will be sadly missed by your friends and family.xx

I am sad to heae of Chtis' passing. An strong influence and personality in shaping the Early Years education that many parents across Hampshire and UK take advzntage of today. Sleep well and rest in peace.
