In loving memory of Jill Margaret Finnis who sadly passed away peacefully, aged 85, at Friston House nursing home on 4th June 2026
Jill led a full, happy and varied life and made many friends over the years. She had a deep and personal faith which gave her great comfort in her latter years
Jill had a good sense of humour. She enjoyed travelling and particularly looked forward to her annual summer holiday in Majorca. Jill took delight in her regular swimming and lunching with a special group of friends, listening to music, reading and watching any film starring Christopher Plummer, especially The Sound of Music
Upon retirement Jill acted as a volunteer at Medway Hospital where her hard work was greatly appreciated. She working mostly in the Pharmacy Department but also in the Gynaecology Department.
Jill was an lovely, indomitable lady who has left her mark on all our lives and will be sorely missed
