Sadly, Jason passed away peacefully on the 3rd of June, he wasn’t in any pain, the sun was rising and the birds were singing. Jason had fought a 16 month battle with Glioblastoma. Throughout his journey he showed tremendous strength and determination. Jason was the most loyal, loving and amazing husband and father to me and our boys. We are devastated beyond words nothing will ever fill the huge hole in our hearts and lives.
Jason’s wishes for his funeral were for all his friends and family to dress as if they were going to the pub for a drink with him (no suits please). He wanted people to donate to the Sue Ryder charity instead of flowers (there’s a link on this page). The carers and hospice that looked after Jason in his final month were beyond amazing.
Please join us to celebrate Jason’s life and raise a glass or 2 to him and dance to some cheesy music.
