In loving memory of Colin Smith who sadly passed away on 3rd June 2026.

Colin Smith of Rannoch Drive, Mansfield passed away peacefully on June 3rd, 2026, aged 89 years (formerly of Mansfield Woodhouse, Nottinghamshire). Beloved husband of Angela, Brother to Alan, Father to Mark & Matthew, Grandfather to Thomas & Abigail and Great Grandfather to Harry. Dearly loved and missed by all his family and friends.

The Funeral service will be held at Mansfield District Crematorium on Tuesday 23rd June 2026 at 2pm. Colin was born on August 27th, 1936, at home at 45 Thoresby Road, Mansfield Woodhouse to parents George & Winifred Smith (nee Stringfellow). After the early tragedy of the passing of his Father George in a road traffic accident (aged 21), Winifred met and married Norman and Dad was joined by stepsiblings Alan, & Jean. With the advent of WW2, the family moved to Mansfield. Colin met Angela and they were married on June 4th 1966. With a move to Avon Way, Mansfield, they were made a family, with Mark arriving on March 23rd 1970 and Matthew a few years later on September 10th 1976. After a long career as a bricklayer, Colin retired and with Angela moved to Rannoch Drive to build a life in retirement together. Colin passed peacefully after illness on June 3rd 2026
