It is with deep sadness that we announce that on the 2nd June 2026 at Manorlands Hospice following a short illness, Lena peacefully fell asleep into the loving arms of Jesus aged 89 years. Lena, wife of the late Alwyn, cherished mum of Sue and the late Stephen and mother in law of John. An adoring proud grandma of her wonderful grandsons, George and Harry and their partners Rosie and Elliott. A besotted great grandma of Arthur, grandmother of Catherine and Luke and a very dear friend to so many. Wearing a pop of pink at the service is welcomed.

Lena was my mum's neighbour and took my mum under her wing from the day she moved to Silsden. Such a kind, generous person who would do anything for anybody.
She will be missed.
