On 31st May 2026, aged 83 years, David, dearly loved husband of Doreen, much loved dad of David, Shaun, Stephen, Catherine and Helen, adored grandad of Kate, Matthew, Charlotte, Amy, Lauren, Victoria, Annie and Stevie, and great grandad. Funeral service will take place on Tuesday 16th June 2026 at Dewsbury Moor Crematorium at 12.30pm. Relatives and friends please accept this intimation. Family flowers only please.

Played rugby with him, he helped me a lot when I first started refereeing amateur rugby league. Drunk e few beers with him and had some good times. A good friend and mate and what a character, he will be sadly missed. All the best to Doreen and family. Rest in Peace David
