My condolences to all his family. The lovely so well attended church service brought many happy thoughts back when we worked together from 1984 onwards. Alastair will be very much missed. A life well lived. David

So sorry to hear of Al's passing; so pleased we managed to get together recently to put the world straight! Al was an undoubted professional and a much valued Member of CTSI North East Branch which will be a lesser organisation without him. I have many good memories with him going back to the late seventies, where we shared a car to go to London for our exams. We put the world straight then as well. May I extend my sympathies to his family in your time of grief.

Alastair was a wonderful family friend and neighbour. I will never forget his beaming smile and wave every time I drove down my childhood street. He would always stop for a chat and was such a happy soul. He will be dearly missed. My heart goes out to Sue, John and Emily. Thinking of you all ❤️
