In loving memory of Kathleen Gill who passed away peacefully on 27th May 2026, aged 94.

Kathleen was a devoted Catholic whose faith guided her throughout her life, giving her strength, comfort, and a deep sense of purpose. A loving and loyal wife to Joseph, she built a home filled with care, laughter, and unwavering devotion, always placing family at the centre of everything she did.

She was a proud and caring mother to Mary and Danny, Her love showed in every part of their lives, from the everyday moments to the milestones she celebrated with them.

A loving Granny to Shaun, James, Martin, Rebecca, and John-Daniel, she was deeply loved and cherished. To her great-grandchildren, she was a treasured figure whose warmth spanned generations.

She was known for her lively personality and was always talking, always on the phone, and always in touch with people. Everyone knew her—she had a way of connecting with others wherever she went, and she built friendships easily through her warmth and conversation.

She also worked at the church hall, where her strong faith and community spirit shone through. She was trusted, well-known, and appreciated by many, always willing to help and be involved. She would often be seen selling raffle ticket or having a chat with friends.

Above all, she was a loving, generous, and spirited woman who put family first in everything she did. Her voice, her presence, and her love left a lasting mark on everyone who knew her, and her legacy continues through the family she so deeply cherished.

The funeral will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on 01st July 2026 at 11:00.

The family have requested no flowers, however if you would like to make a donation our chosen charity is: Hayward House at Nottingham City Hospital.

God bless you kath, you were the face of the sacred heart church in my young days, the heartache you endured would have tested anyone but your faith was a wonder to behold. I can see you now selling raffle tickets to the angels. Xxx
