In loving memory of Peggy Adams who sadly passed away on 27th May 2026.
Gran was pretty traditional in her feelings about funerals. She said she liked flowers, so if you want to send some, please feel free to do so. They should be sent to 36 Longton Grove, SE26 6QE. Alternatively, if you would prefer to make a donation, then please use the link on this page to donate to Cancer Research U.K - a charity very close to her heart, but please don't feel obliged to do either.

Peggy always found time to be kind to me. I still treasure the two teddies that she so thoughtfully knitted for me. She was a very caring lady who was greatly loved and will be missed by many.

I have so many fond memories of Granny Peggy particularly from my childhood and visiting her and Bob in their home. She always had a big smile, kind words and a hug. She will be missed ❤️

Peggy was related to my Nan’s family through her husband Bob I believe. My Nan was Emily married name Warner. My mum Betty Ansett kept in touch with Peggy & Bob for many years & I kept up the tradition of sending Christmas cards when my parents passed. I got Peggy & Pat’s addresses muddle up at some point, but Peggy put me right. So sad to hear that she has passed. Sending my condolences❤️💋

Peggy was a prolific knitter over the last few years after getting a teddy knitting kit as a present one Christmas. I turned her knitting into teddies for her which she loved to give away to friends and family.

My lovely Granny. Thank you for everything. For the past 4 years as I left her in the home and told her I loved her, her reply... 'I love you more!
