Peacefully surrounded by her loving family on 24th May aged 95 years, Ethel (nee. Kirby).
The loving wife of the late Billy. The devoted mother of Brian and David, and dear mother-in-law of Jeanette, Allison and Syl. A much loved nana to Julie, Sharon, Dane, Natalie, Helen and Ben. A cherished little-nana/ grandma to Dylan, Lloyd, Alfie, Ruby, Jude, Sonny, Kobi and Charlie. A treasured great-great nana Macy, Willow, Beau and Benji. A dear step-nana to Kieran, Evan and the late Adam. Also a special aunty, great-aunty and good friend to many. Loved and remembered always.

Friends please meet on Tuesday 16th June for a service in Independent Methodist Chapel, Hetton-le-Hole at 11:45am. A committal service will follow at Sunderland Crematorium. All are welcome after the service to Hetton Big Club for refreshments and to continue the celebration of Ethel’s life.

Family flowers only. Donations in lieu of flowers are gratefully received in memory of Ethel for the British Heart Foundation. A donation box will be available at the Church.
