Margaret Moira 'Maggie' Hanlon

It is with great sadness that we announce that Maggie passed away on 4th May 2026, aged 70 years.

Maggie was the beloved and devoted wife of Sean. She was a kind, generous and gentle person with a deep faith that was the spring from which her character and her love of life, people and nature flowed.

She was born in Nottingham where she had many friends from her school days and her adult life. In recent years she spent increasing amounts of time in Padstow and Trevone and had become close to many people particularly within the Christian communities at St Petroc's. She will be greatly missed and forever loved.

Requiem Mass to take place at Our Lady Help of Christians R C Church on Wednesday 27th May at 2.30 pm, followed by an additional Requiem Mass to take place at St Petroc’s Church, Padstow on Tuesday 2nd June at 12:30 pm, followed by interment in Padstow Cemetery.
