Don Munro, 84 from Dorking, a much loved father, partner, grandfather, brother, uncle and a dear friend to many, sadly passed away on April 29th 2026.
Born on the 20th July 1941 in Cheltenham, Don lived a full and happy life. He enjoyed many adventures and moments in the spotlight.
Don’s family and friends were very special to him and his charisma and humour were infectious to all who knew him. A larger than life character who will be remembered for the big heart he had and the laughs he gave us.
A celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday 19th May at 3.30pm at Randall’s Park Crematorium and afterwards at Dorking Golf Club.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations to Parkinson’s UK.

Please feel free to add any special memories or photos of Don if you wish to.

Dear Uncle Don

May you rest in peace and, of course, with humour and your wit now!

Remembering all the times when we were young - football matches you took me to, fishing in St Mary's Bay and much more.

You were always, rightly, so proud of Samantha's many achievements from a young age.

With love and best wishes to all the family and your many friends.

Simon, Katie & family.

Don,
Ever since I met you and Val (when Sam and I were at university together) whenever you entered a room, it suddenly lit up. A master storyteller and lover of fun. How you will be missed. Rest in peace.
