  • Just how I remember Allan, both he and Nell meant so much to my late parents Bryan and Pam ,also to Peter and I when we were able to visit . Allan had a wonderful loving family and that showed because he had a broad smile on his face every time I saw him , was a true Yorkshireman and had so many adventures to talk about on his many and varied travels , long and short distances that it would easily fill 12 best selling books. As I have previously stated my parents adored Allan and Nell having known them for years( Dad 50, Mum 70) Thank you Allan for being one of the nicest guys I ever had the pleasure to know and I send Keith and Anne my very deepest condolences but you have so many happy memories I am sure of both your parents and also to know how much they meant to other people as well must be so satisfying for you. I apologise for the late response but unfortunately have only just been informed. Best wishes David and Peter Elliston
