Marilyn Smith (28 Feb 1954 - 27 Apr 2026)

It was a joy to have known Marilyn at Bible College. I was impressed by her commitment to God's Word, and the way in which she always seemed to have a pile of Scripture cards which she'd regularly take out and memorise - one by one. This practice held her in good stead for the rest of her life - and was a great challenge to me. Au revoir, Marilyn. We'll meet again in Paradise and you can tell me then of all the wonderful things that God has done for you - both past and present.

I just still carnt believe your gone its just absolutely heartbreaking and devastating and it was an absolute pleasure knowing you even though it has only been a couple of years you showed me nothing but love and welcomed me in the family from day one since pete brought me to see you it was an absolute privilege to know you going to miss you so so much r.i.p xxx

I was very saddened to hear the news. Marilyn, you were one of the most amazing and kind people I have ever met. I feel very grateful for everything you have done for me and my family. I will always remember you with warmth, gratitude, and love. I am truly sorry that I can't be there in person to say goodbye. Please know that I am thinking of you and your family during this very difficult time. You will be deeply missed. Rest in peace, Marilyn.

Marilyn you have left very difficult shoes to fill, Your Sermons very often struck deep into folk's hearts and very often won a round of applause, Something not very churchy maybe but a sign of how much you were appreciated, You will never be forgotten R.I.P. Gary and the Adam's gang xxx
