Deacon Martyn. You were a true gentleman and an inspiration to everyone you met. You lived out faith by always putting others before yourself. You made an impact on the lives of so many and I will always be grateful for all you did to us all at Our Lady’s school. I will miss you popping in each Friday to check in and just be there! I hope you rest in peace now you have done God’s work.

Deacon Martyn,
We were blessed to have you baptise our son and I was also very blessed to have you baptise myself.
You brought me closer to my faith and guided me through some dark times. You were honest, kind and very funny.
You made me smile on my worse days & I know you have done the same to many people.
You always told me, you wanted the church to be everyone's home and you sure made that for me.
You took the time to make everyone feel welcomed & I will forever be grateful that I met you.
I hope your family find peace & strength though these difficult times and be proud of the angel you were on earth and the angel you have become in heaven.
Thank you for everything you have done for me, my son and many many many people.
God bless you

Lucy

Dear Toni Jack and Emma, I first met Martyn some years as we worked together at the same hospital. Afterwards we would catch up at training days set up by the trust. Martyn was someone who had a lot of compassion for everyone, a great sense of humour and wise words that could get to the point. It was a gift to know him and learn from him.

May he rest in pace, Amen.

Losing such a wonderful colleague is a profound loss to all of us in our Chaplaincy team. I will always cherish the many fond memories we shared with Martyn. In February, I attended a training with Martyn in Highbury, and that was the last time I saw him. None of us could have imagined he would leave us so soon. All the lovely moments we shared will remain with us forever.

My heartfelt condolences go out to Toni, Jack and Emma during this incredibly difficult time.

Rest in peace, dear Martyn. You will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

My deepest condolences to Toni, Jack and Emma. It was a pleasure to work with you Martyn and you will certainly be missed in the team. You were one of the most kindest people I knew, always thinking selflessly and always ready to lend a hand. Our Team is poorer in spirit without you but we will continue the good work you left behind in your memory. Go well Martyn and may your soul Rest in Peace.
