David Kenneth Rhodes ‘Dave’
We are heartbroken to announce the passing of David Kenneth Rhodes ‘Dave.’
He was the dearly beloved husband of Sandra and loving father of Louise, Clare and Paul. As many of you will know, dad was a kind and generous man who loved his family dearly and made everyone around him smile. He will be greatly missed by us all.
Dave died unexpectantly at the City Hospital on 30th April 2026, aged 77, surrounded by the ones he loved.
His funeral service will take place on the 21st May 2026 at Gedling Crematorium, Catfoot Lane, Lambley, Nottingham NG4 4QH at 9.30am. He loved the colour Red so we have tried to incorporate the colour into flowers and dress, please feel free to join in too.
A reception will be held afterwards at the Willowbrook Club, 13 Main Rd, Gedling, Nottingham NG4 3HQ. Family and friends are welcome to join us to celebrate his life.
Flowers are welcome or a Charitable donation, if desired, can be made to The British Heart Foundation.

Dave, you were such a great bloke, a true gentleman and always my fave taxi driver! You’d regularly pick me & Louise up after a very drunken night out and laugh a lot listening to what we’d been up to! I think you sometimes felt proud of me at how many pints I could consume! I spent many a night at your house with my bestie Louise.
Sending a big hug and thinking of you all at this incredibly sad time. You’re going to be very sorely missed.
We will raise a pint to you with Louise & David and reminisce about the good old days. Sleep well Dave x
