Jennifer was like a second mum to me. Her home always felt like a second home, and when I was younger, I can recall countless sleepovers and days spent simply being part of their family, always made to feel welcome, loved and included. Some of my happiest memories are the summers we spent in Cornwall, where she created so many moments of joy that I will carry with me forever.

She would patiently watch Wendy and I perform many majorette and dance routines and nurtured our obsession for boybands!!
I’ll always remember her roast dinners, made with so much love, and all the little things that made her so special like learning how to put makeup on by watching her, admiring how she always had her hair done just right, and later in life, cherishing the simple moments like sitting together with a glass of wine.

Every Christmas, without fail, there would be a present for me, a kindness I never once took for granted. As life moved on, that generosity never stopped. She welcomed my own children with the same love and thoughtfulness, always making them feel just as special as she made me feel growing up. That kind of love is something you carry with you forever.

Watching Jennifer and Malcolm together showed me what a strong and loving partnership truly looks like. The way they supported one another, laughed together, and stood side by side through everything gave me such a powerful example of what marriage should be, built on kindness, respect, loyalty and genuine friendship.

Jennifer was kind, caring, glamorous, and so full of love. Perfect in so many ways..apart from her very low tolerance for spice, which always made me laugh.

I will always be grateful for the love she gave me, the memories we shared, and the role she played in shaping who I am today.

Jen, you will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
