My Mummy, My Eternal Light

On this quiet day, I look up and I see,
The beautiful soul who gave everything to me.
A bond made of magic, so deep and so true,
The best part of me is the part thatโ€™s like you.

I look in the mirror and there in my gaze,
Are your very same eyes and your wonderful ways.
I carry your wit and your sense of delight,
And your kind, gentle heart is my compass at night.

When life is a storm, youโ€™re the peace in the air,
My favorite safe space is just knowing youโ€™re there.
My biggest supporter, you cheered through the years,
And even from Heaven, youโ€™re drying my tears.

So thank you, dear Mummy, for all that you gave,
For a lifetime of love and the path that you paved.

Though I miss you deeply, my comfort and pride,
I know that youโ€™re walking right here by my side.

Your ever loving daughter Danielle, I will miss you forever mummy. Xx

Sending condolences to all the family at this sad time, I have fond memories of visiting Auntie libby, Uncle Paddy & Janina when I was younger with my mum & dad , especially when me and libby use to write letters to each other and we see who could post the smallest letter ,mine was not much bigger than the stamp, she was a great lady and will be miss by many , sending all my love xxx
