Dear Tina, Darren and family I hope all goes well for Shirley's funeral. Sorry we can't be with you. I was only reflecting this morning on the great parties we used to have at Christmas and all the seafood your Mum and Dad would put out. We wish you all the best and our thoughts are with you. Happy memories of our joint family holidays and Christmas parties. Aunt Shirley and Uncle Johnny would also often holiday with my own mum and dad, before we were all born; they looked like a couple of film stars in photos. I lost my mum Margaret in Jan-25 and she really liked Shirley, and when I spoke with Shirley after this, she said she really liked my mum too; ain’t that nice. Probably why they often holidayed together when they were younger (with their hubbies) and later with their children - a common thing with the King family back then. A lovely lady, very sad, and so sorry that we cannot make the funeral…but, Darren and Tina…please keep in touch. Sending much love, Cousin Sarah and Paul xxxx
