He was an amazing husband, dad, stepdad & grandad who is greatly missed by all of us.
One word continually gets mentioned when people speak of him " Gentleman" it is such a fitting word to describe him, he was a true gentleman in every sense of the word.

My darling brother Peter (Sorry, but I have never been able to call you Pete), I,m so thankful that we were able to speak to each other on the Saturday before you left us - and so sorry that I was unable to come home to the UK to say goodbye to you. You never forgot to phone me on my birthday and Christmas, which helped me to feel closer to you and my family. It,s hard to accept that I will never hear your voice again, but you will always be in my heart. Rest easy baby brother. XXXX

Peter is my dear younger brother one of six of us children. He has gone to be with our Mum, Dad & sisters Brenda & Jenny. This leaves only me (Janet) in England & Eric & Wendy in Canada. I feel lost right now but he is safe & in no more pain. Caroline was the best thing that happened to him & I am so grateful that she was always there for him & him for her. Back 'in the day' when local authority Building Control had a great relationship with the local Fire Safety teams, Pete was a key member in that liason and we would exchange our views, and requirements when reviewing applications submitted for Building Regulations.
He was always a friendly and wise communicator and as with many others, he became a good friend.
