He was an amazing husband, dad, stepdad & grandad who is greatly missed by all of us.

One word continually gets mentioned when people speak of him " Gentleman" it is such a fitting word to describe him, he was a true gentleman in every sense of the word.

Forever in our hearts, sleep peacefully Pete. xxx

Rest in peace Peter, a wonderful Uncle gone too soon and will be greatly missed. At least he will be with family, hopefully enjoying a drink with his sisters Jenny (mum) and Brenda, together again.

You will always be in our thoughts.

Rest in peace, Peter, a wonderful brother-in-law and uncle to us who will be so very sadly missed. We can't believe you are gone so suddenly. Wherever you are now, I hope you can enjoy a whiskey together with Jenny/mum once more.

You'll always be missed and in our thoughts.

Peter is my dear younger brother one of six of us children. He has gone to be with our Mum, Dad & sisters Brenda & Jenny. This leaves only me (Janet) in England & Eric & Wendy in Canada. I feel lost right now but he is safe & in no more pain. Caroline was the best thing that happened to him & I am so grateful that she was always there for him & him for her. I will always miss you so much Pete, Take care XX

Rest in peace Pete. You were a true gentleman and a great neighbour, you even helped us move house (not sure if it was to make sure we left lol) I was saddened to hear you got your angel wings and I know you will fly high. Xx

Back 'in the day' when local authority Building Control had a great relationship with the local Fire Safety teams, Pete was a key member in that liason and we would exchange our views, and requirements when reviewing applications submitted for Building Regulations.
He was always a friendly and wise communicator and as with many others, he became a good friend.
Pete
Your humour, and advice will be sadly missed by everyone who met with and shared their life with you. R.I.P. mate.
