Ahhh so very sorry to hear the news of Florrie’s passing - Deepest Sympathy to All of Her Lovely Family from The Shannon Families ❤️
Florrie still kept in touch with my Mum & would ring her at night to tell her how she was doing.
When she rang she always asked about us all - Karen, Paula & Our Billy who she called Donny Osmond lol
I have fond memories of her running after my Daddy Billy in the field on the 12th Day to give him a present she had bought him - she loved & Adored My Daddy & My Aunt Norma - another great memory was her on the stage at Ormeau Park during the community talent show singing her heart out - when she turned up at Ballywhiskin Caravan Park & came looking for my Dad to come to see her line dancing - his face - we roared lol
Whenever you saw her she was always the same - knew you straight away, big hugs & kisses xx
Rest Easy Florrie back with Your Beloved Robert 💖 xx

What kind of person was my sister, She was a person who enjoyed life to the full she would make friends with anyone and it only took two minutes for them to embrace her and they will never forget her and will always remember her favourite words “hello darling”. Her good friend Steven in the burendale hotel where billy and I took Florence most years will certainly remember those words. She would always make you laugh one of many laughs is when she would ring up late at night and say I have good news for you my back is killing me. Florence and I were always with each other i remember when Florence and I were able she would have got a bus into town I would have met her for lunch then we went Christmas shopping we shopped for hours and she always called me her wee chum. I will love you always and miss you so much for those who believe in angels I hope they are getting their harps well tuned for Flo arriving god bless you until we meet again.

Our beloved Auntie Flo, I can’t quite believe she’s no longer here, with her laughter, singing, hugs and kisses. She was one of life’s true gems, and anyone who knew Flo immediately loved her, and Flo loved them. She had that rare ability to light up any room, with her magnetic warmth and energy. Auntie Flo was always happy and happy to see her family and friends, and never had a bad word to say about anyone. I have so many happy memories of Auntie Flo from childhood to adulthood - going to Butlins, where she befriended everyone and was up on stage singing, family Christmas parties, and watching the bands. She brought so much happiness to those around her, and was loved so much by everyone. She will be so missed. Love you always, from Lynsey xxx

Our big Flo as she like to be known at times
Not physically big
But a big loving funny personality

Flo rarely voiced a bad word about anyone
She just loved and took to most people she met

Flo had that special gift of walking into a room of strangers and within an hour of arriving there She knew everyone's name and they knew Big Flo

I will always remember when my kids were young and i and my kids went on holidays with her husband Robert to Butlins in Scotland
Within a day of arriving there Flo knew all the Redcoats by name and they called out Hi Ya Flo we'll see you tonight 😉

My sister Betty often said every year went they went on holidays to Newcastle and stayed in the Burrendale Hotel
They lived going to the entertainment in the hotel on the Friday and Saturday night
As soon as the band started to play
If Flo knew the words of the song the band were singing
Flo could be heard singing along And before the night was over
She had the surrounding people singing along and dancing 💃 on the dance Floor

As I said this was just our big Flo
just an innocent special person
who loved people and life

She may be gone from this earth
But my God certainly not forgotten 🙏

I hope all those up in heaven enjoy our Flo as much as we down here did

God Bless Flo and all the special moments and memories she allowed us to have in her company 🙏
Love you darling ❤️
John her wee brother xx
