Jackie was a favourite auntie in our household and a familiar figure for our three boys growing up. She made each of them feel special and even in adulthood, always sent them a birthday greeting and had a personal word of encouragement and about God's love when she met them.
She was the first to volunteer to serve in any way and the first to respond in moments of crisis. I could not count the number of times she would appear at my my door with a bunch of flowers and a hug in life's toughest moments.
We are glad we made time to have fun and make more memories after her cancer diagnosis - these will always be precious to us.
We are glad too that her pain is over and her joy complete... but we are already missing her smile, her kindness, her love and her unfailing faith. Be at peace, our dear friend!

To my beautiful friend Jackie, you have been a wonderful friend kind helpfull and supportive.i echo all what has already been said. lewie will never forget when you reminded him when he wee on your leg at two days old. The boys loved you so very much. Jackie thankyou for being you and loving the boys and keeping them safe thankyou for loving me however hard that was at times. And to quote our favourite little bear " how lucky i am to have something that made saying goodbye so hard" and " you they may have gone from your sight said pooh, but never from your heart that thats where love lives always." Thinking of you all today as you celebrate Jackie's life! What a lady, many memories that make me smile of Jackie, with her beautiful smile and humour, always full of life. When I was a teenager, she would constantly nag me, in a great way, to be in touch with my Gran. She cared about family, and invested so much in many families. She will be greatly missed...but delighted that she is now in the presence of Jesus. Have a great celebration!

Dear Jackie, We love you and will miss you so much.

Heaven has truly gained a beautiful angel. Our family will forever remember her warmth, her bold laugh, and the incredible courage she showed in her faith. Even in the face of her illness, her light shone so brightly. May her memory continue to be a blessing to everyone who knew her.

Jackie we always enjoyed your company and chats.
Kind, funny, loving and generous.
You gave us your Sliver Ford Fusion for free. This car was a blessing to us.
After I had my first child and started attending baby & toddler groups, I always looked forward to Tuesdays.
Tuesdays I got to see you and other Mum friends.
On Tuesdays you looked after my nephew. Which was great, as my daughter was able to see her cousin weekly.
We would attend stay & play at the Kursal children's centre and afterwards go for lunch at the Attic Café. We would then try and get the children to nap.
I loved your company and loved you.
I will miss you, but I'm glad you are healthy and free in heaven.

Well my old Coz, I know where you’ve gone but to me you haven’t gone, we just haven’t spoken on the phone for a while. I can say nothing that hasn’t been said, you were simply wonderful, you loved the world and everyone in it, even traffic wardens! You put up with my sense of humour for decades and I have your wonderful Dad to thank for that. The love coming back to you says it all. We love you Coz, those of us fortunate to have known you are blessed. All my love from your idiot cousin xx

You will always still be Jac-Jac to me! Thank you for being such an utterly awesome woman. Thank you for every cuddle - from me being tiny to recent ones too and then cuddles for my kiddies too. Thank you for every time we got to sit on your lap in the meetings, have chats and snacks with you, every time you stopped to ask about things that mattered to us. Thank you for seeing us as full, valued people even when we were so small. Your heart for others was exceptional and we loved it dearly. Thank you for the impact you've made on my life and so so so many others. You truly leave a legacy behind of people of all ages feeling seen and loved by you. What a wonderful example of loving others as Jesus loves them.

It was our privilege to know Jackie ever since she joined the SCF church family four decades ago. All three of our kids were on the receiving end of Jackie's kindly interest and gentle wisdom from the babysitting stage right through their teens. (Not even mentioning the time Jackie fetched our 7-year-old home one Sunday when we left her behind after the service!). Has anyone ever modelled the values and heart attitudes of God's Kingdom more than Jackie did? And always with a smile and a bit of impish humour alongside. Whenever you met Jackie, she never failed to show genuine interest and give you kind words of encouragement. It's written somewhere: "Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn." That attentiveness to the good of others sums up how Jackie lived. Now she's with her beloved Lord Jesus and she's rejoicing all the way!

Dear Jackie has been a beautiful part of our lives since our children were young. She had such a gift for noticing children and treating them as valuable individuals. Many years ago she would often sit with Mary in Sunday worship times while Colin was busy leading, and be the spare lap that is needed when you have 4 young children. She would be a fun babysitter at home and at Bible Weeks so that we had a chance to go to meetings together....and just a few days before she passed away she told us to make sure we got time together and that we should go out to a favourite garden! She always cared about the person God had put in front of her, whatever their age. That was the forever thoughtful Jackie, who leaves an enormous gap in so many lives including ours.
