My mum raised me to have a good heart and to always show respect—even if it was just through simple words like ‘please’ and ‘thank you.’ Everything I am today is because of you and my dad.

It was an honour to be by your side as you passed from this world to the next. I truly hope I’ve done everything the way you would have wanted and made you proud.

Today we said goodbye—but only for now. Until we meet again.
