Sam passed away peacefully at Royal Derby Hospital on 3rd April 2026, aged 40 years, much loved daughter, mummy, granddaughter, sister, aunty, cousin and a special friend to many.

pathway I think 'what would Sam do?' and this helps me get through the next hurdle. I feel so grateful to have known her and so sad it wasn't for longer - I hope she knew what an inspiration she was to me and how much I admire and try to match her determination and fighting spirit xx
You were not only my cousin but you were my friend.. will always have the memories of our girly holiday before the kids came along and our long chats putting the world to rights .. you really did put up such a fight right until the end. Your courage and bravery amazed me. You will always be in my thoughts 💔
