Hugh Robert Jones (1 Oct 1936 - 7 Apr 2026)

Dear Rosemary and family,
I only heard of the recent death of Hugh last Wednesday at one of the Sea of Faith In Conversation session that John Whitwell attended.
I am very sorry that I did not hear earlier because I would have tried to attend his funeral. I remember Hugh and you with great fondness as the hosts of the Banbury SoFN group meetings for many years, always kindness itself.
II also remember the time when Hugh had a severe health scare and was hospitalised in Oxford. Thank goodness for the extra years with Rosemary and his family. I shall remember him as a kind man who enjoyed his family and his trains.
May he rest in peace.

John and I will always hold fond memories of Hugh. Hugh and Rosemary were our neighbours of 14 years and we miss them.

In memory of my cousin Hugh Robert Jones, a lovely man who will be sadly missed.

I'm sorry but Kevin and I are unable to attend Hugh's funeral, but will be thinking of you all and have very fond memories of Hugh, sending our love Wendy X X
