Gary Hartley (27 Apr 1958 - 11 Mar 2026)

In loving memory of Gary Hartley, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, who sadly passed away on 11th March 2026 at the age of 67. He will be remembered for his humour, determination, and the deep love he had for his family.

Gary had a passion for the outdoors. He loved camping holidays, weekends away, and family trips to the coast—especially Cornwall.

Gary was known for his dry sense of humour, his strong opinions, and the unmistakable twinkle in his eye that meant you were never quite sure if he was being serious or winding you up. He loved bringing his family together—whether through sharing a drink, telling stories, or cooking his much-loved homemade pizzas.

Gary passed away while travelling with Sue on what was to be the trip of a lifetime—something they had long looked forward to sharing together. While his passing has left a deep sadness, there is comfort in knowing he was with the person he loved most, doing something he truly enjoyed.

Gary leaves behind his loving wife Sue, his children Lorna, Erin, and George, his grandchildren Reece and Max, and a wide circle of family and friends who will miss him dearly.

He will be remembered with love, laughter, and countless stories—just as he would have wanted.
