In loving memory of Dale Kirk who sadly passed away on 3rd April 2026
Dale was a Thundersley boy who loved his family, his greyhounds and his motorbikes.
He was a postman in Thundersley and Daws Heath for over 30 years where he was a familiar face, making friends with many of his customers who he helped along the way.
His sudden and unexpected passing has taken us all by surprise and he will be very sadly missed but fondly remembered by all who knew him
Instead of flowers, if you would like to donate in Dale’s memory, we are collecting for 2 charities that were very dear to him: Castledon Greyhound Rescue and Essex and Herts Air Ambulance.
If preferred, there will be a donation bucket at the ceremony on Tuesday 5th May at 3pm at Southend crematorium.

RIP Dale, fond memories of a lovely work colleague who went above and beyond for Royal Mail staff & customers. So skilled at old school post bike one pedal stand-up riding. Sadly missed by all of us posties! Sending love to Andrea & family. Tracy xx
