Anne Rosemary Beck (3 Jul 1952 - 2 Apr 2026)

Anne was born on 3July 1952 at her Grandmother's house in Anselm Road, Dover. She was the 2nd child of Daphne and Fred Vickery. She was educated at Archers Court School in Dover and worked for Marks and Spencer for many years. She met Donald Beck in 1982 and they were married in June 1985. She continued working up until she fell pregnant with twin daughters Victoria and Elizabeth, who were born in 1992. She was married for over 40 years before her second encounter with cancer. She was successfully treated for it in 2020 but when it returned towards the end of 2025 she decided to refuse treatment. She wanted to die in the Hospice, and she wanted to go there direct from home, not going via a hospital or nursing home. We were able to give her that. She died peacefully 2 April 2026.
