Kathy Clayden (6 Sep 1939 - 5 Apr 2026)

In loving memory of Kathy Clayden who sadly passed away on 5th April 2026

Kathleen Mary Margaret Coleman was born in Devon on the 6th September 1939. Her parents John Charles “Jack” Coleman and Mary Coleman née Martin lived in Southwark but following the outbreak of war, briefly moved to the countryside before returning to South London where she lived for the rest of her life.

Kathy was the third child of four and the only girl. She grew up surrounded by the loving protection of John, Danny and Jimmy as well as the force of nature that was her mother.

She met William “Bill” Clayden in the late 50’s and they were married in 1959. They have three children, Lynn Wendy and Danny and have nine grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
