We are heartbroken to share the passing of our beloved Dad, Tony Donahue, who sadly passed away on Friday 13th March 2026, aged 64 years.

A proud father of two, Ben and Chloe, and a dedicated NHS mental health nurse, Tony spent his life caring for others with kindness and compassion. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him and the many people he supported throughout his life.

Had the pleasure of meeting Tony through working as a community carer. He took the time to understand the man we supported. He didn’t see that something was broken and to be fixed. He seemed to genuinely celebrate differences and was not afraid to be himself.
The man we supported passed away a few years back and I can certainly say he will find comfort in meeting Tony once again.

I am missing you terribly Tony - I can't believe we won't see you again, you were everywhere in the Trust and now you are not. I wish you would have known how much we all thought of you. I will never forget you, and will think of you when eating trifle x

Hey I am struggling without you not being here anymore. You was a good friend, and we spent time together about work and life...we worked 9 to 5 but we sat talking afterwards, and you supported me when i went through bad times. You will be missed big
time.

It was a privilege to work with Tony. We sat next to each other for over 3 years and I still miss our conversations about everything and nothing. We had a difficult job but I always looked forward to seeing him and sharing the occasional Battenburg. Rest in peace Tony.

Tony you will be truely missed. It was an absolute pleasure to work with you all the way from when I was a Student Nurse to Qualified. You always showed compassion and gave the best chats in the break room. You will be dearly missed.
