I first met Donna when I was a courier,and I used to deliver to her late mother Marion,then to Donna herself.we used to have some lovely long conversations on the doorstep and later on via message and phone calls,she was one very strong lady from beginning and up till the end,we shared a special bond, with me having had cancer myself twice.my last phone call with Donna i told her that I had arranged a flower tribute for her as I am unable to attend her funeral due to now living in portugal x I will miss our conversation. My very sincere condolences to the whole family.
I met Donna and her son in Frankfurt when my husband Barry was having treatment and we’ve kept in touch. Donna always said that Barry was an inspiration to her cos he’d stop at nothing to stay here with us. Sadly Barry passed away last September and Donna’s support from afar was much appreciated.
Donna was a lovely lady and I know that she battled this horrible disease for a number of years. May she now rest in peace … a lovely lovely friend xx
