Jean passed away peacefully on 16th March 2026, aged 91 years. A loving wife to the late Sam, much loved mum of Paula and the late Tony, mother in law to Mick, treasured granny to Finlay and Robbie.
A funny, feisty, fabulous lady.
A private Funeral Service will be held for Jean in due course.

Jean,
I have known you all my life.
You were a dear friend of my mum, Peggy Farrell and work colleague of hers at 'woolwerths' in Burton. I can hear you two laughing together now, with your banter and naughty jokes.
You lived in a bungalow at the top of road and I can remember coming in and you offering me rhubarb to dip in some sugar on those long summer days.
Farewell Jean may you rest in peace now with all those who love you.xxx

Tomorrow we say our final goodbye to a funny feisty wonderful Mum. Every time I watch the Sound of Music, hear Tom, Englebert or Glenn Miller, I’ll think of you. Remembering all the “loffs” we’ve had with a smile. Reunited with Dad and Tony. Rest in peace.
