In loving memory of Frederick 'Fred' Milwain who passed away peacefully on Tuesday 17th March 2026 aged 76 years.
‘Forever in our hearts’ ♥️
Fred touched so many hearts, making friends with almost anyone throughout his life. He had so many interests and the family look forward to sharing our memories with everyone who can join us for his funeral.
Fondly remembered and dearly missed by his son Peter Milwain (and partner) Tracey Winfield, daughter Zita Milwain, ex wife Sharon Milwain, Nephew Carl Milwain (and partner) Sam Cloona, and all his family and friends.

If you are joining us for his funeral please come dressed as though you would be meeting up with him at a pub or a do - just like him a colourful character.
For anyone who may not be able to make the funeral we hope you can join us for a gathering at the Shakespeare in Shardlow (see reception details above) straight after the funeral.

I only got to know Fred last year but we spent quite a few afternoons together watching a film or listening to music. He would always show me a film I've never seen before and my favourite was Brother where art thou. We barely made a dint in his record collection!! He told me many stories and we had some laughs and even though i only knew Fred for a short time i will always think of him when i listen to sun studio records xx
