In memory of a very special lady. A one off and a being a character are over used phrases but that is what she was in the best possible way ❤️ Lots of memories to cherish, will miss bumping into you in Town or at gatherings having a gossip and a bit of banter, will miss you telling me off when I was always late and for putting my finger prints on those newly polished chairs. You had me worked out when we first met - you’re a bit loud and talk a lot 🤣 From one fellow talker to another. Sleep Well Carol xxx What an amazing legacy you leave xxxx ❤️ ps your brave family did you proud on Thursday ❤️

Carol, thank you for all the memories from my childhood - you will be so deeply missed by everyone who knew you. You always treated me like family whenever round your house in Conyer, even if you were constantly tidying up around us lol.

One of my earliest memories is arriving late to Gareth’s 7th birthday party and you’d made me up a plate of food and cellophaned over it, so I didn’t miss out….One of my last is you stopping your car to chat as you came out of Sandford Rd onto the A2, holding up all the traffic without a care.

Thank you for every moment - you’ll never be forgotten. You have left an amazing legacy behind. I hope you’re up there now having one of your long natters with my mum, just like you both always used to xxx

Mum
As I write this through tears it is still very hard to believe that you are gone.
You gave your whole life to caring for your family, your dearest Mum and Dad, Nellie and Stan, and to your sister Joy. Later to Keith your husband, our Dad, and to your 2 sons and to me your daughter. You welcomed your son and daughter in laws into the family and of course you cherished every second with all of your Grandchildren. Everyone you met mattered and you had no dislike towards anyone. You were loving and kind to everyone you met. I miss the shopping trips, the singing and the dancing. I miss the happy birthday calls and above all the overwhelming love that you gave to us all every single day. To my precious Mum until we meet again. ❤️ ❤️

To our dearest, most devoted and loving Mum.
We could write words forever for you, and the never ending love and thanks that we will always keep within us will never fade from our hearts.
We will all miss you for the rest of our lives.

You were a huge lover of your football, of Sittingbourne FC, of Liverpool and of England and I will always remember that day during the World Cup of 1986.
When England scored against Argentina you leaped up ran in the kitchen and you came back with a saucepan and wooden spoon and was cheering and dancing around, banging the two together.
That energy you gave in that moment was the same to all of us and to our lives. Always laughing and smiling, chatting away and making the best of things.

You made our live so bright Mum, both you and Dad x we will make sure he’s ok Mum as I know you’ll be worrying about him and us all.

We’ll watch out for one another Mum you don’t need to worry x

Rest now in everlasting peace Mum, you very much deserve it xxxx
God bless, sleep well and say hello to Nan and Gandad for us all x

Carol and I met whilst on holiday at The Salvation Army holiday home in Southbourne. We were young teenagers and kept in touch via letters. Coincidentally we were both married on 28 March 1970 and our respective Husbands...Keith W. Carol was a true friend, and when we moved to Sittingbourne in 1973 we continued that friendship. She came with me on my first visit to anti natal at Minster. A great support. Sadly missed but know she is enjoying Eternal Life with Jesus.
