Darling Uncle Nigel, what a truly sad loss of such a lovely, kind and talented Uncle. He was always so sweet and lovely when we came down as kids and I was so proud of him working at the ITV! He will be very missed by all the family. Loads of love to Auntie Jane, Sarah, Clare, Eleanor and Joseph and my Mum too. Every time I see a lovely old clock I shall remember him. Biggest hugs and love xxxx

I loved Sarah & Steve’s functions as I always enjoyed a little chat with Nigel. He was so articulate and full of humour.. And, always made us giggle, when, every time he saw us, (without fail) he would ask our daughter Isobel, “Is a bell necessary on a bicycle?” Such a lovely memory.

Nigel and myself worked together at Anglia TV in the '70's. He was a real friend in a TV world that has rather fragile relationships. Our friendship lasted for decades despite him moving to work in London and having a really important role as a first assistant director. He had a lovely, kind and quiet personality but had a determination to provide a first class 1st assistant job requireing a firm hold on the shooting schedules and providing the director with a full on-going backup throughout shoots, usually under great pressure.I will miss his contact but still have happy memories that will last.
