Clive Noakes (21 Mar 1948 - 6 Mar 2026)

A beautiful man who will be sadly missed but never forgotten. Wish we could have spent more time together. Xx

Clive was a lovely guy. His passing is a great loss and I shall miss him so very much.

Always remembered. We had a common interest and understanding as I worked with his late father, Les. RIP Clive. Aldwyn, Edda and family

So many happy memories have been made with Clive (aka ‘Knocker’ & ‘Baby Clive’!) and the Noakes family over the years. Turkey, Kos and Prague to name a few, as well as up and down England. Lucky to have shared so many family holidays and weekends together. Too many laughs and stories to mention!

As a fellow Old Git’ I had many opportunities to enjoy Clive’s company, both on long weekends away and the Annual AGM’ just another excuse for a Jolly for us all.
After hearing the sad news of Clive’s passing I thought back to when a few of us managed to meet at the RAF Club in London in 2022, and was so grateful that I was able to spend a few more hours in Clive’s company.

Remembering many happy hours on the golf course, also when we had a nice meal at ours chatting about your family & the future , such a lovely & genuine fella , master of quips , a very good friend .

Playing Tennis, Basketball and Golf. Holidays, parties and dinners, and as neighbours enjoying and growing our new families together. We can regret for a moment the end of these times but for always and above all, celebrate a life well-lived. R.I.P “Knocker”.

I feel lucky to have shared some quality time with Clive over the last 10 years, he was always smiling, always laughing and had a wicked sense of humour.

Clive would always speak proudly of his wife, children and grandchildren and was always keen to share their successes with me, I always admired the family man quality he had.

Thanks for the laughs Clive, it was a privilege to have known you and to have kept you looking dapper.
