Rest in eternal peace Ollie.
In loving memory of Oliver Macklin who sadly passed away on 11th March 2026
Oliver ‘Ollie’ Macklin, aged 77, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a lifetime of love and cherished memories. Born in Monaghan, Ireland, he was then raised in Cam, Edgeworths town, County Longford in his early years before moving to London in 1961 where he lived with his family for the rest of his life.
He was a devoted husband, a loving father to his son and a proud grandfather to his two grandchildren. Family meant everything to him and he was happiest when surrounded by those he loved.
Oliver enjoyed the simple things in life. He loved his football team Crystal Palace. He also loved going on holidays and spending time in his garden, which brought him great joy.
Oliver will be remembered for his kindness, warmth and the love he had for his family. He leaves behind a lifetime of memories that will be treasured by all who knew him.
In his memory, family and friends are invited to light a candle, raise a glass and remember the good times shared with him.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
