In loving memory of Jamie Woodfine who sadly passed away on 26th February 2026

We would like to reach out and thank everyone for their kind thoughts and messages to our family following the sad news that my brother, Jamie Woodfine, has passed away.

His funeral will be held on 27th March at 2:00pm at Bobbing Crematorium, followed by a wake at Sea Cliffe Holiday Park Clubhouse in Minster. Everyone is welcome, as Jamie had many friends who may wish to come and pay there respects.

In recent years Jamie faced some struggles, but through his service in the armed forces he received support from SSAFA and Blind Veterans UK. These two amazing charities helped him relocate and provided valuable support with his Mental health. SSAFA is also continuing to support our family through this very difficult time.

If anyone would like to make a donation in Jamie’s memory, we kindly ask that you consider supporting one or both of these charities instead of sending flowers. Donations can be made through this page.

Thank you again for all the kindness and support shown to our family.

Jamie was a true gentleman, the kind of person who made life brighter just by being in it. He had a great sense of humour and a kind heart. He will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him, but his memory will live on in the stories we share and the good times we were lucky enough to have with him.

Rest easy, Jamie xx

Uncle Jamie, I miss you so much and my heart breaks that you’re gone and I will never see you again. I will always remember your crazy stories and miss going out on adventures even if you did make me walk miles with Fitz in the fields 😂 or that Time you wore mums pink dress and high heels singing “would you risk it for a chocolate biscuit”. I’ll always remember our holidays and how you would always be there for me when I needed you. I hope you’re at peace with you’re Nan now and give woody a cuddle from me You always gave the best hugs I love you so much ❤️🕊️

I still can't get my head around the saddest news, you were always the life and soul of the party, always wore an ear to ear grin and gave a warm hug.

Our happiest memories of our childhood, we were so lucky to have all been so close.
Family summer bbqs around aunties houses, sleeping in the trailer tent or tents in the garden, Christmas get togethers at aunty Maureen's - smuggling snowballs under the table, summer holidays at nanny mints in noreen playing dressing up!!
These memories will stay with me forever and I hope the go with you also.
God bless you - Be in blissful peace now Jamie 🙏
Love you xxx

The Unfinished Song
A fleeting spark, a brilliant light,
That vanished in the quiet night.
A story stopped upon the page,
Before the final, middle age.
Too pure for all the weight below,
Yet far too young to have to go.
The music ceased, the song untold,
A tender hand we could not hold.
No farewell whisper, soft and slow,
Just sudden absence—echoes grow.
You were a star that shone too bright,
A fleeting bloom, a sudden flight.
Now sunlight feels a little cold,
For all the dreams you did not hold.
And yet, in every tender breeze,
In sunlight dancing through the trees,
A whisper speaks your gentle name,
A spirit free, that time can’t tame.
