Devastated to hear this sad news. He was a much loved teacher to our 3 children but especially Marcus who he guided through school not only as his teacher but as SENCO. Marcus is deeply saddened too. A truly incredible teacher who was much loved by everyone RIP. Thinking of his family and friends at this time.

Totally shocked at Bryan's passing. You've been a good professional and personal friend for many years and we are all the poorer by your early demise. I have many fond memories of our times together and although few in number they were high in quality. Sincere condolences to Jane and family. Hope to express them personally at the church.
RIP my friend.

Bryan played a huge part in my children’s education and was a wonderful work colleague for many years!
I last saw Bryan about 4 years ago with my granddaughter and he was so pleased to hear about how well my children had done but laughed at how old it made him feel!! Such a genuine, happy guy!
So sorry for your huge loss, sending my love to all his family xxxx

Absolutely devastated to hear of the sad loss of such a wonderful teacher. Thinking of his family at this difficult time. I feel like I know you all because he spoke so very proudly of you. It’s teachers like Bryan that helped shape our son and many other children into wonderful adults and will be forever grateful to him. Rest in peace Mr Kilvington xx

The Garthwaite family had so many happy memories with Bryan and the family at Filey. Initially when the Kilvo caravan had a flat tyre and my dad came to help. We had many happy family holidays after that and I wish I could relive it and hear Bryans laugh. I will try upload some old photos later xx

Sending love to all the family. Mr Kilvington - Sir - as we all called him, just the best teacher at Braithwell. I’m sure I have photographs of school trips at Scargill House. Fond memories. I’m not a teacher but I use some of the skills he taught us with my children. Rest in peace x

What to say - it’s difficult to do justice to all the years of friendship in just a few words.
As a couple Denise & I have so many good memories of our time together - the nights out, days in your favourite resort Filey with our friends & children, and in more recent years the walks with Phil & Jill. We have talked & laughed much over the years.
Personally, I shall miss you more than words can say. We met when we were in short trousers at Tickhill infants & remained friends ever since. Who’s going to shout out “PD”. now. Rest in peace BK.
Sending all our love and condolences to Jane,Hannah,Matthew, James & their families.
